The acquisition of the image, carried out inside a camera in a controlled light environment, occurs during the passage of the material, therefore without causing slowdowns of the system, producing images of the highest quality and completely free of reflections, on which the operator can highlight on the screen the presence of possible defects to be taken into account in the subsequent processing. Moreover, the system is able to automatically contour the images of the slabs and obtain the profile, thus allowing to estimate the surface and the internal and external useful area for the possible cutting operations. The machine also detects the thickness of the material, thus making it possible to obtain an estimate of the weight of the slab.
