Configuration of the product
The diamond wire gangsaws SIMECWIRE, with identical technical solutions and supporting structure, are available with different cutting widths as to meet the customer’s specific needs. Besides, when purchasing the machine, it can be configured to operate with three different diameters of wires enabling a variety of possible versions.
Choice of the diamond wire according to cutting strategies
According to the thickness of the slabs to be produced and to the value of the material or to any other specific parameters, the customer has to identify in advance the diameter of the wires to be used in order to make its sawing business efficient and convenient.
Double tensioning system
The wire double tensioning system has two different operating modes:
• Pre-tensioning (T) allows fast and simultaneous movement of all the pulleys, to quickly reach the tension point. The system is used in the reverse direction to remove the obstruction of the tensioners and allow the access of the operator to reposition the wires.
• Final tensioning (T1), independent for each pulley with very high precision, ensures the correct tension for each wire.
Motor controlled by inverters
The main motor of the SIMECWIRE machine is a powerful electric motor driven by inverter that allows a precise and fluid variation of the rotation speed and the optimization of the wire speed according to the type of material to be cut.
SIMEC offers the possibility to equip the machines with motors with different powers according to the typology of material to be cut and to the average number of wires used. The chart here-below shows some of the possible combinations.
The three-point cutting architecture adopted on the new multiwire machines mod. SIMECWIRE SW assures an excellent managing of the diamond wire, guaranteeing an uncompromising reliability and usability of the machine. The position of the tensioning pulleys located in the lower part of the machine, closer to the point of use, facilitates a better control on the operating pressure, remarkably reduces the risk of damages in case of accidental breakage of the wire, lessens down time at the end of the cut and offers a greater down feed compared to other geometries. The excellent design of the cutting arch combined with the great attention given to the ergonomics, help the operator in managing the machine in complete safety.
SIMECWIRE has solutions that enable a quick replacement of wires or their adjustment thanks to the use of special multi-colour rubbers that allow the correct positioning of the wires, while footboards and areas for the operators make the preparation and set-up phases extremely comfortable and fast. The operator standing in front of the tensioners can have an accurate control of the position of the wires.
