Polishing machine for quartz base agglomerate slabs
NPA 1700 RS is a modern polishing machine for quartz based agglomerated slabs. Many solutions come from granite and natural quartz sanders, such as spindle bridge with piston shaft, the famous operating heads of the Simec Testarossa program, the rigid base with no vibration and many other details that Simec has tested in almost fifty years of history.
SIMEC has developed special ink-jet marking systems for slabs, capable to print information, symbols, bar codes, etc. directly on the edge or on the lower part of the material. In order to achieve this aim, SIMEC uses printheads and components from leading companies in the industrial printing, able to meet the highest reliability and service requirements in any part of the world. The MGI systems, available in two versions, are equipped as standard with a large colour touch screen display for setup and self-diagnosis. In order to operate, the system must be connected via ethernet to a PC on which the software specially developed by SIMEC is installed
Loading/unloading Systems
In the most modern plants, the loading and unloading of phases are an increasing important production part. SIMEC has a vast range of efficient products dedicated to transport, tilt, deviate and naturally to automatically load and unload the material, capable of handling in complete safety slabs without creating bottlenecks in production
Ancillary processing
Quality slabs require complementary processing to add value to the product, such as the perfect squaring of the material which must be free from burrs derived from the forming phase and of perfectly constant dimensions. For this reason, SIMEC makes a series of machines, capable of supporting the workloads of the highest productivity lines, performing lateral and ends trimming of the slabs in order to bring them to the desired size. To these machines, both longitudinal and transversal bevelling machines are added to avoid the detachment of quartz grains during the polishing phase which can cause scratches on the surface.
